How to Turn On Subtitles on IPTV
Subtitles make IPTV easier to follow in a noisy room, late at night or in another language. Most IPTV players let you turn on subtitles during playback in a couple of clicks. This guide covers IPTV Smarters, TiviMate and other players, how to change the subtitle style and why some live channels don't show any.
Turn on subtitles during playback
Start the movie, show or channel, then open the player controls: press OK or Menu on a remote, or tap the screen on a phone. Look for the CC or speech-bubble icon and choose a subtitle track.
Turn on subtitles in IPTV Smarters
While a video plays, tap or select the screen, choose the subtitle icon at the bottom and pick a language. Choose Disable to turn them off again.
Turn on subtitles in TiviMate
Press OK during playback to open the menu, select the three-line menu, then Subtitles, and choose a track.
Adjust subtitle size and style
Most players change size and color in Settings → Player → Subtitles. On Fire TV and Android TV, the system captions style in Settings → Accessibility → Captions also applies to many apps.
Why some channels have no subtitles
Movies and series usually include several subtitle tracks. Live channels only show captions when the broadcaster sends them, so availability varies by channel and program.

Why can't I see the subtitles option?

How do I make subtitles bigger?
